I am deeply committed to being a therapist and dedicated to making a positive impact on the world through my work. Human psychology is fascinating to me and I eagerly engage in professional growth and training opportunities whenever possible. In the therapy room with clients I feel humbled and moved by their bravery and vulnerability in taking risks, asking for help and opening up to me. I am grateful for each day I get to do this work.

I have been working in the therapeutic field for over 15 years. First as a Music Therapist and  then for the past 10+ years as a Counselor. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon and I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Portland State University. I’ve completed post-graduate trainings in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Intimacy from the Inside Out, and Relational Life therapy, Mindfulness based therapy (Hakomi) and Perinatal Mental Health Treatment.

My interest in working with new parents was ignited when I became a mother myself. My children are the most important people in my life and I know personally how profoundly life-altering and challenging parenthood can be. I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional which means I’ve had at least 2-years experience working with postpartum mental health issues, have completed introductory and advanced training in perinatal mental health and passed an national certification exam.

I'm a native Oregonian and cherish the varied and rich landscapes of our beautiful state. When I'm not in the office I'm happiest enjoying time outdoors with family, connecting with friends, reading novels, and singing in the rain.
