"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"

I am deeply committed to being a therapist and dedicated to making a positive impact on the world through my work. Human psychology is fascinating to me and I eagerly engage in professional growth and training opportunities whenever possible. In the therapy room with clients I feel humbled and moved by their bravery and vulnerability in taking risks, asking for help and opening up to me. I am grateful for each day I get to do this work.

I have been working in the therapeutic field for over 10 years, first as a Music Therapist and  then for the past five years as a Mental Health Counselor. I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Portland State University and have completed post-graduate trainings in Internal Family Systems Therapy and Maternal Mental Health Treatment.

My interest in working with new moms and dads was ignited when I became a mother myself. My family is the most important thing in my life and as a parent of two young children I know how profoundly life-altering and challenging parenthood can be.

I'm a native Oregonian and cherish the varied and rich landscapes of our beautiful state. When I'm not in the office I'm happiest enjoying time outdoors with family, connecting with friends, reading novels, and singing in the rain.
